Effective September 5, 2026. The agreement between you and Locker Leads, in plain English.
These terms are written in plain English on purpose. They are the whole agreement between you and us for the Locker Leads service, and they are meant to be read, not skimmed. If a plain-English sentence here and a legal reading of it ever disagree, the plain-English meaning is the one we intend.
Locker Leads is operated by JRC & Associates, Inc., a California corporation doing business as Locker Leads (“we”, “us”). Our mailing address is 12935 Alcosta Blvd. #3761, San Ramon, CA 94583, and we can be reached at support@lockerleads.com.
By subscribing to Locker Leads, or by using the website or the emails we send, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not subscribe.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. The service is offered to residents of the United States. If you subscribe on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and “you” means the business as well.
Locker Leads is an information service. Each week we send subscribers one email listing the upcoming self-storage lien sales we know about in the counties they have chosen: the facility name and address, the date and time, whether the sale is held online or in person, and a link to where the sale is listed. Sales that require attending in person are listed first.
We compile these listings from information that is already public — auction platforms, operators’ published schedules, legal notices and licensed data feeds — and we present them in one place. We do not run auctions, take bids, hold funds, act as an agent or broker for any facility, auctioneer or platform, or take any part in the sale itself. Buying at a storage auction is governed by the rules of the auctioneer or platform running it, and by law; those are between you and them.
Locker Leads is independent. StorageTreasures, Public Storage, Extra Space, CubeSmart and the other names that appear in our listings are trademarks of their owners, who do not sponsor or endorse this service unless we say so explicitly in writing.
A subscription covers the counties you choose. Current pricing:
Your subscription renews automatically. You are billed monthly, in advance, to the card you provide. On the same day each month your subscription renews for another month and your card is charged the then-current price for your counties, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, online, from your billing portal (see section 4); cancelling stops the next charge and you keep receiving issues until the end of the period you have already paid for. These renewal terms are shown to you before you pay, and are repeated in the confirmation email you receive after subscribing.
Prices are in US dollars. Any sales tax required in your jurisdiction is calculated and shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Price changes. If we change the price of your subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before the first renewal at the new price. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal and you will not be charged it.
Changing counties. To add or remove counties, email us. The change takes effect with the next issue and the difference is prorated on your next invoice.
You can cancel at any time from your billing portal. The link is in every receipt and in the footer of every issue. No email, phone call or explanation is needed, and we do not make you jump through hoops. If you would rather email us, support@lockerleads.com works too, and we will confirm the cancellation in writing.
Cancelling stops the next charge. Your subscription stays active, and you keep receiving issues, until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Unsubscribing from the email and cancelling your billing are two different things. Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link, which stops the emails immediately but does not stop billing. Since the email is the product, if you unsubscribe you almost certainly want to cancel as well — please do both.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, normally within ten business days. Nothing in this section limits any right to a refund you have under law.
Your subscription is for use by you, or by your own business and its staff, in finding and attending storage auctions. You may print an issue, forward it within your business, and keep copies for your own records.
You may not republish, resell, sublicense or redistribute the issues or the listings in them — in whole or in part, free or for a fee — including by posting them publicly, feeding them into another product or list, or sharing your subscription with people outside your business. You may not access the service by automated means, scrape the website, or use the listings to contact, locate or harass any storage tenant.
If we reasonably believe a subscription is being used in these ways, we may end it (section 12).
We work hard to keep the listings accurate, and we remove sales we learn have been cancelled before each issue is sent. But storage auctions are cancelled, rescheduled and settled by the tenant at short notice — often the morning of the sale — and operators do not always announce it. Listing times and locations can change after we publish. Some sales in an issue are shown as unconfirmed, meaning the operator has scheduled them but the auction platform has not yet listed them.
Always confirm with the facility or the auction platform before travelling to a sale or placing a bid. We cannot guarantee that any listed sale will take place, that any particular unit will be offered, or that the details we publish are complete or current at the moment you read them. Decisions about whether to travel, bid or buy — and their results — are yours.
Locker Leads is run by people who buy storage units themselves. We say so plainly because it matters to you. We do not sell subscriptions in the counties where we actively buy — those are excluded from the service — and we do not use anything about our subscribers, or their county choices, to decide where or what we bid on. We may occasionally bid on a standout unit in a county we do sell; when we do, we are working from the same public listings you are, with no head start.
The Locker Leads name, the website, the design and text of each issue, and the way we select, arrange and present the listings belong to us. The underlying facts — that a sale is happening at a given place and time — are public information, and nothing here claims to own them. Third parties’ names and marks that appear in our listings belong to their owners.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the service or the listings — including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted delivery.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses — including wasted travel, lost profits, missed sales or the outcome of any auction — arising from the service or your use of it, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability to you for anything arising from the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limits. Where the law does not allow a limit here, it does not apply to you, and nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
We may improve, change or discontinue parts of the service. If we make a change that materially reduces what you are paying for, or that changes these terms in a way that affects your rights, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, cancel before then and you will not be charged again. Continuing to subscribe after the change takes effect means you accept it.
The current version of these terms is always at lockerleads.com/terms, with its effective date at the top.
You can end your subscription at any time (section 4).
We may end your subscription if a payment fails and is not resolved within the grace period Stripe allows, if you breach section 6, or if you use the service to do something unlawful. We may also end the service, or stop covering a county, for business reasons; in that case we will tell you by email and refund the unused part of any period you have prepaid. Sections 6, 9, 10 and 13 survive the end of a subscription.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If something goes wrong, please email us first; most problems are a refund or a correction, and we will respond within two business days and try to resolve it within 30 days. If we cannot, either of us may bring a claim in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California, or in small-claims court where you live if the claim qualifies. Nothing in this section takes away a right you have under law to bring a claim elsewhere.
